About the Design
The iconic 1964 Malcolm X rifle photo has been often imitated since it first appeared in Life magazine. It's an image I have worked with in the past for American needle/Afro wear.
I wanted to give a new take on it by combining his silhouette with the Microsoft logo, because In this time the computer/internet are a new battleground. His story has inspired
many as a great defender of equality, liberty, anda voice opposing oppression.
